Mentoring days are for graduates of the TEaMS basic employment seminar only. You must be a graduate to sign up for a mentoring day.
Mentoring days give the ex-offender the opportunity to connect with employers who hire ex-offenders. A TEaMS employment expert will contact employers on your behalf and arrange an opportunity to meet. Other services on Mentoring Days include:
• Resume review and critique
• Employment skills review
• Cold calling
• Personal employment counseling
These services are based on a one on one session and on group sessions if applicable. One on one session are arranged by TEaMS staff. After registering for a Mentoring day one of our staff will call and arrange for an appropriate time on that day for you to meet with your mentor. If you are a graduate of the Ex-offender Employment Basic program there will be no charge for the first Mentoring Day. Mentoring day fees will apply to any other days at the discretion of staff. Only graduates of the Ex-offender Basic Program are eligible to attend mentoring days unless arranged in advance with staff. There is a $20 fee for additional mentoring days for graduates.
